People say pain does not touch His abode;
We started searching Him on the globe;
People say wishes are fulfilled in His abode;
We started pleasing Him with necklaces and robe;
People say wealth and pleasures floods in His abode;
We started chanting and penance to crack this code;
When all ended in vain finding no route to His abode;
Devotees said forget all and aim the love on this road;
Heart finally found solace in Sri Guru’s feet-
The only door to Sri Krishna’s abode.
